Blogspot.com : redirect from domain specific country

In efforts to country specific laws, Blogger have started redirecting blogs hosted on blogspot.com subdomains to country specific domains (ccTLDs).

For example, for anyone who is in england and viewing a Blogger hosted blog which would ordinarily have be hosted over a *.blogspot.com subdomain, you'll be redirected to *.blogspot.co.uk.

This is happening permit Blogger to censor content on the country-specific level. E.g., if the UK asked Blogger to remove  a webpage of content from the blog, the page would not open to view by tourists in the UK; it might however be available to examine in other countries.

Most Blogger users is not going to notice another change to their sites apart from the ccTLD redirect and custom domains are certainly not affected by any means. Blog authors/owners continues to control blogs on Blogger.com.

When will these changes happen?
Its not all countries are yet suffering from the ccTLD changes, though it is planned to roll this feature out internationally on the coming weeks or months.

During writing, bloggers in India, Canada, New Zealand, the british isles and some The european union have noticed ccTLD redirection for his or her sites. Twenty-four hours a day let us know within the comments below if your site has experienced the change.

Accessing content on *blogspot.com outside the United states of america
If you would choose to find out Blogger hosted content on the *blogspot.com subdomain, that can be done by typing "ncr" after the blog's domain. For example,

    [blog-name].blogspot.com would become [blog-name].blogspot.com/ncr

It's also possible to employ this way to view an individual post, such as this:

    [blog-name].blogspot.com/ncr/blog-post-url

If you would choose all readers to see pages of the site in the *blogspot.com subdomain without having to be redirected for their country-specific ccTLD, Emilio Cobos and Vagabundia are suffering from a script which is often included in your Blogger template.
